Topic#3: Lord Regent

The Delegate position is unique and the elections terms and limits as applies to the HO and the rest of the overseers can't apply to the Lord Regent because when we grant executive delegate powers to a nation we need to trust that person to look after the region in the founder's absence:

1.We won't impose term limits on Lord Regent? Agree or Disagree?

2.Should we make the delegate executive or non-executive? And

2A. Should the delegate maintain 20 endos at all time to be executive and be responsible for reaching out to WA nations in the region who haven't endorsed him or her to get to the minimum 20, below which delegate will become non-executive till 20 is reached again?

It should not have term limits, it should only be executive if it has over 20 endos.

Unless the Lord Regent is chosen by Rift to not be suitable and replaced

Being frank i would much rather a non-executive delegate. Their position and duties do not need administration controls to complete them. It would remove all threats of outside regions. Not to mention the fact if i'm not on Noble is...

I agree purely from a hypothetical point of view but then Lord Regent is in power for six months and have just had their powers limited in a big way. Not to mention as our raiding prowess grows we will have more trollers between me and Rift we catch them but wouldn't hurt to have another person also keeping watch.

If Lord Regent is non-exec then term limits need not be so long at 6 months since the switching over/security risk would be nonexistent?

Executive 6 month - Non-exeuctive if there is not 100% trust there from Noble and myself
